SiteIQ

Equipment forms a large part of your budget for planned industrial maintenance. Being able to quickly locate and enhance these assets can help you to reduce costs and find new project efficiencies.

Real-time asset management

Replacing our legacy system CHASE, SiteIQ is our next-gen proprietary asset management system that provides the visibility you need to manage site maintenance events safely, efficiently and cost-effectively.

SiteIQ extracts maximum value from your hire by helping you to understand how, where and when tools and equipment are being used. It also allows more timely changes to be made to hire and pricing arrangements as your project progresses.

Simple and easily configured for one day on site or for projects that run 24/7 365 days a year, SiteIQ can track one tool to thousands of tools, assets and personnel.

How SiteIQ can drive efficiencies on your site

- Manage equipment, tools and consumables supplied by Coates, customer and/or contractors

- Implement rules to control who has access to different categories of equipment

- Manage multiple contractors and purchase orders at once

- Reduce the cost and inconvenience of lost, damaged and stolen tools

- Improve accountability of the use and return of hired and customer-owned assets

- Create customisable reports to identify operational efficiencies by tooling category and spend down to individual hirers, dates and times

- Enjoy cloud-based access to data and analytics, anywhere and at any time

- Benefit from real-time equipment hire spend for more accurate budget forecasting

- Improve WHS compliance and site safety through quick access to product certifications and Verification of Competency (VOC)

- Streamline project invoicing and administration

Smart Site

Is your workforce wasting time looking for tools or in unproductive areas? Our innovative productivity tool aims to increase productivity by reducing wasted time and movement around a site.

Locating tools and equipment

Lost tools are a major expense for many industrial and construction sector projects. Using easily established networks and a combination of technologies, such as RFID (radio frequency identification), LoRaWAN (long-range, low-power wide-area networking) and GPS, Smart Site quickly and easily locates smaller high-value tools and equipment not fitted with a telemetry device.

Improving productivity

The costs of an unproductive workforce can quickly add up. Using smart badges (which don’t require personal information to protect employee privacy) and geo zones, our time and motion studies help you to identify site layout inefficiencies that impact tool time.

By understanding site dynamics, identifying productivity roadblocks and refining processes, we’ll help you maximise time spent in productive areas and increase tool time so you can return to operations sooner.

Drones and 3D Models

Manual asset inspections typically require shutting down an asset and inspectors working at height. Our drones service provides a faster, safer and more cost-effective way to inspect assets in hard-to-reach or hazardous locations.

Asset integrity service

Our customers are increasingly using drones to remotely inspect assets located at height or in confined spaces. Drone captured high-resolution imagery and 3D models, or digital twins, can be used to safely, accurately and collaboratively review assets and plan maintenance.

Performed by qualified and experienced drone pilots, our drone services come with Civil Aviation Authority approval, full Safe Work Method Statement (SWMS) and Job Safety Analysis (JSA) documentation.

Reasons to switch to drones and 3D modelling:

- Perform faster inspections with less asset downtime

- Reduce risk by keeping people out of harm’s way

- Avoid the cost of unnecessary access and safety equipment

- Spend less time and money completing safety training and paperwork

- Enhanced data collection accurately compares changing assets over time

- Safely review 3D models to inform shutdowns and ongoing plant maintenance

-Image detail and accuracy allows users to spot a crack in weld

Telemetry

Need to deliver more work, with less hired equipment? Coates can help you to do just that by collecting and analysing data from telemetry-enabled equipment.

Informing equipment hire

Feeding into our Coates Connect customer portal in real time, telemetry data provides with you with greater insight into the location, performance and utilisation of your tools and equipment.

Knowing where your equipment is and how it’s being used allows you to continually optimise your hire, reduce equipment waste, prevent over hiring and drive more efficient equipment use.

Finding new efficiencies

- Locate and track equipment within geofenced areas

- Reduce the cost and inconvenience of lost, damaged and stolen tools

- Prevent hording, the misuse and inefficient use of equipment like welders and lighting towers

- Maximise equipment utilisation, drive tool time efficiency and better hire behaviours

- Inform cost control with real-time reporting on all tools and equipment.
