Course Description
For those who are required to understand specific load restraints. This course will be based on the National Transport Commission Guidelines.
What will be coveredThis course covers the knowledge and skills required to undertake load restraint and includes:
- Tie-down restraints
- Direct restraint method
- Friction / dunnage
- Chain capacity (including ‘de-rated’ chain)

Entry Requirements
- Adequate level of literacy and numeracy skills
- Must be at least 16 years of age
- Photo ID
Assessment Process
- Group participation
- Short answer questions (written)
- Small practical observation
